As part of the safety awareness initiatives and with the support of the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Hoe Heng conducted a full-scale in-house fire drill in the afternoon of 15th July 2016 at our plant in 7 Pioneer Place.

This joint exercise involved a staged casualty evacuation and fire break out to provide some hands-on opportunity to test Hoe Heng’s response to emergency situations such as fire evacuation, activation procedures from calling 995, activation of fire engine, arrival of fire engine from the nearest Tuas Fire Station to our premises, etc.

In addition, officers from 4th SCDF Division were also invited to conduct lessons on fire safety awareness and proper methods to operate a fire extinguisher.
